Data Entry           How many times have you been through the classifieds and seen the ads: Get paid to do data entry from home! Are you over 18 Do you have internet access A valid email address Good typing skills Do data entry work and get paid 250 a week plus!!        These ads are everywhere, work from home web sites, free classified ad sites, newspapers and shop windows.       Before I start not all companies are the same and there are some out there that are genuine, it is not something that I would get into myself or recommend to anyone.       They all promise large amounts of money just to do simple data entry work from home on your PC. Sounds great but when it comes to reality it can be a different story.       What is Data Entry?       One type of Data Entry involves typing specific information into forms at home on your computer, and then you would send them back to a website. Because you would have to be self employed and you would be responsible for your own income tax it is easier for companies to outsource the work, that way they do not have to pay holiday and sickness pay and other rights you would be entitled to if you were employed by the company. It is routine work, most online data entry consists of filling out forms for PPC (Pay Per Click) advertisements, there can be other types of data entry as well and we would be interested to hear of different types you have been offered and if they have worked for you.       You are nearly always asked for a membership fee, some later include upgrade fees and service fees, if I was you, I certainly would not pay any more than I am prepared to lose. A money back guarantee means nothing once you have already paid a fee.       There is only way one to know if it is a scam or not, that is if you personally know someone that is already doing it and it is genuine and you can earn money out of it. The chances of that are very slim so please be careful and check it out as much as you can before you start. See if you can find the name of the company and "Google" it to see if anyone else has complained.
